Generative AI in Business Workshop – Strategy for Leaders

Generative AI in business workshop for boards and management teams. Understand AI capabilities, risks, and strategy in your industry.

SERVICE DETAILS

Generative AI in business is an intensive half-day or full-day workshop for boards, supervisory boards, and management teams. Goal: building a genuine understanding of AI — not hype, not panic, but facts and decision frameworks. Programme: what AI can (and cannot) do in your industry, case study reviews from comparable companies, assessment of your own processes for automation potential, operational and legal risks (AI Act, GDPR), the AI maturity model and where your company sits on that scale. Every participant leaves with a personal AI priority map.

Key Benefits

Clear understanding of generative AI capabilities and limitations without technical jargon — leadership makes strategic decisions based on facts, not TechCrunch headlines.

Industry-specific case studies from comparable companies: what worked, what did not, what it cost, and what it saved — concrete examples, not abstract possibilities.

Individual AI priority map for every participant — every manager leaves with a list of 3-5 processes in their area ready for automation.

Understanding of legal and regulatory risks (AI Act, GDPR) and how to mitigate them — without legal jargon, in the language of business decisions.

Shared AI language for the entire leadership team — a fundamental condition for effective AI strategy implementation across the organisation.

The Process

1

Industry customisation

Before the workshop I research the client's industry, gather the latest case studies, and tailor materials to the sector's specifics (finance, manufacturing, retail, professional services, etc.).

2

Part 1: AI state of play and capabilities (1.5h)

Where AI is now (production, not science fiction), what generative AI can and cannot do, overview of tools and models — with live demonstrations, not slides.

3

Part 2: AI in your company (2h)

Mapping company processes onto the AI maturity model, identifying opportunities and risks, industry case studies, exercise: every participant assesses their department and builds a priority list.

4

Part 3: Next steps (1h)

How to start: quick wins, building internal competencies, choosing the first AI project, risks to manage. Q&A, collecting priorities into a collective roadmap.

Frequently Asked Questions

Who is this workshop for — only the board?

The programme is optimised for leadership (board, directors, managers) but I also deliver a version for a broader group of employees. For a mixed group — I adjust the theory-to-practice ratio accordingly.

Can the workshop be split into two shorter sessions?

Yes — a 2x3h format over two weeks works better for busy leadership teams than one intensive day. In the gap between sessions participants have time to reflect on the material and prepare questions.

Can training materials be shared with absent managers?

Yes — I deliver a materials pack for broader distribution in the organisation: a condensed summary (3-5 pages), slides, and a recording (if ordered). Absent colleagues can catch up in 30 minutes.

How do you measure the effect of the workshop?

I propose a pre- and post-survey measuring confidence in AI decision-making (1-10 scale) and concrete KPIs: number of AI initiatives identified, pilot projects launched within 90 days of the workshop.
